All of these factors together suggest a surprising resilience in the Iran War - oil crisis.
China has been trying to protect its economy from such shocks for decades.
🔸Invested in renewable energy,
🔸gained dominance in a large part of the clean energy supply chain, and
🔸promoted electric vehicles at an extraordinary pace.
As a result, an economy that is still dependent on imported fossil fuels but less so than before has emerged; this has provided some protection as oil prices have risen by up to 65%.
Chinese asset classes are seen as safe havens by global investors.
While Trump and America are struggling, China is rising.
