Small companies can't keep people?
This question is as stupid as asking "Why can't scammers get a second time."
I've seen too many bosses like this.
Yesterday they were playing with mud in the village, today they buy a train ticket to the city and dare to hang the title of "CEO."
They don't even have more money than their employees in their pockets, so they rent a shared office first, buy a set of A6 outfits, and open their mouths to say "grow bigger and stronger."
When recruiting, they are more diligent than chasing girls.
"Five insurances and one housing fund are a must, probation is over when confirmed."
"Our company has flat management, everyone is a partner."
"Follow me, go public in three years, achieve financial freedom in five."
But once you really get in.
They cut your salary by a month, work first and talk later.
Six months of internship, the standard for full-time depends on their mood.
Morning meetings singing "A Family That Loves Each Other," and at knock-off time, depends on the boss's mood.
What’s the most disgusting?
It’s these guys clearly lying, yet feeling very aggrieved.
"I’ve given them work, why aren’t they grateful?"
"Young people these days can’t even endure a little hardship."
That’s not work, that’s exploitation.
That’s not entrepreneurship, that’s playing house.
These bosses share a common trait:
Money in hand first changes cars, then the front desk, and finally the legal person.
A6 is too low-end, they need a Rolls-Royce.
The front desk girl got pregnant, took her for an abortion, and after it’s done, they get HR to fire her.
Loan scam in hand, immediately find an honest employee as legal person, "This is trust in you, to train you."
The so-called "wolf culture" they talk about boils down to one sentence:
You work overtime, I enjoy, you take the blame, I count the money.
Employees can’t afford to eat?
"Young people need more training."
Employees give feedback?
"Get lost, HR will recruit another batch."
Everyone left is a dog.
No ability, but knows how to flatter.
The more they curse, the happier they are; the more they beat, the more loyal they become.
So why do you ask me why I can’t keep people?
Because normal people see through it in three months.
This company has no business, only stories.
No future, only pie.
The boss isn’t starting a business, he’s performing a cosplay of a "successful entrepreneur."
If you really want to do a small business, remember this bottom line:
If you can’t hire people, don’t hire.
If you can’t pay wages, close down.
If your mind is only on "scalping some chives," then go do pyramid schemes, don’t tarnish the word "startup."
The only way a small company can keep people is one:
The boss himself is the biggest salesperson, the biggest customer service, the biggest product manager.
Share the money with those who work, be straightforward, don’t just paint a pie.
Employees are not family, they are comrades fighting side by side.
Can't do it?
Then don’t complain when people leave.
If you want to complain, complain about yourself—why aren’t you professional enough to even lie properly.
