Finally arrived at my rental house in Dongguan around 4 pm this afternoon. The 17-hour journey on a green train plus 3 hours on a bus took me over 20 hours. I encountered a few incidents during this trip. The first was last night when a woman was singing loudly along to her phone's music and dancing, not caring if she disturbed others. She was eventually asked to leave by the train police. Not sure if she has some mental issues. The second incident was in front of me, where a young man suddenly drooled and twitched while sleeping, likely having a seizure. Fortunately, a lady quickly came over to press his acupressure points, and the broadcast in the carriage was asking if any passengers were doctors or nurses to help. Soon after, a male doctor passenger came over, checked him, and then left after confirming he was okay. The train conductor also tried to check if the young man regained consciousness. Luckily, everything turned out fine. Kudos to the women, doctors, and all personnel involved. The third incident happened on the bus, where a couple argued with another man over opening the window and almost got into a fight. The driver then moved that man to a different seat to calm things down. This train was a special extra service, very crowded, with at least half the carriage without seats. The bus was also packed! Tomorrow marks the first day of the new year’s work, and I wonder how many New Year’s red envelopes I can get tomorrow 🧧🧧❤️❤️🌹🌹
