Ethereum researcher Justin Drake pointed out that Ethereum is shifting from foundational research to active engineering practices, including bi-weekly post-quantum transaction developer meetings and deploying multi-client post-quantum consensus testnets. The foundation supports new cryptography through funding and promotional activities, establishing two $1 million prize programs, preparing post-quantum community events and educational projects, and emphasizing that although the quantum threat is long-term, blockchain must respond early.
