Deep Tide TechFlow News, January 21, According to DLNews, Gemini exchange founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss donated $1.2 million to the independent development organization Shielded Labs for Zcash, a privacy coin, to enhance the security, sustainability, and scalability of the Zcash blockchain.\n\nThis donation comes at a time of significant changes in the Zcash development ecosystem, as the entire development team of the main development entity Electric Coin Company suddenly resigned on January 8 due to governance disagreements. As a result, the Zcash ZEC token price plummeted, currently falling to about $365, reaching a new low since December.\n\nShielded Labs, an independent Swiss organization separate from the Zcash development fund, will use this funding to support its core projects, including the network sustainability mechanism, Crosslink hybrid consensus layer, and dynamic fee system.
