There are 3 types of AI self-media videos and articles. Don't bother watching them.
The first type discusses big trends, AI competition, and future directions. Trends and directions are not something that can be spoken into existence; they are shaped by the masses. So it's better to ignore these bloggers. They are correct in what they say, but what does it have to do with us? It only increases our anxiety. It's all just empty talk.
The second type talks about overly complex scenarios, usually created by programmers. Things like n8n, building workflows with coze. I feel like this is the last bit of dignity programmers have left. Agent skills—now major mainstream AI coding tools fully support this. It's much more user-friendly than traditional workflows, allowing direct voice commands and no coding knowledge needed. As long as you're familiar with your business and SOPs, you can start working perfectly.
The third type keeps telling you new things every week or even every day. The titles are sensational, claiming tools will revolutionize everything, or that they've discovered a treasure tool, or solved a new problem. Damn, are you sick? Spending all your time hunting for new tools—how much time do you really have to master them?
The truly useful methodology is to identify your work scenarios, then find tools and methods around those scenarios. Once you've run through a scenario, you'll understand what it means for technology to serve you.
There's a lot of noise out there. I prefer to stay focused on my own path.
