MSCI announced a new policy for Bitcoin strategy companies — companies like MicroStrategy that are currently included in the index will not be kicked out for now, which is a reassurance for investors holding shares in these companies. However, new restrictions also come with it: no new Bitcoin micro-strategy companies will be allowed to enter the MSCI index, and companies already in the index will not be able to gain higher weightings.

What does this mean? In the short term, the risk of these companies experiencing a collapse has indeed decreased, after all, MSCI’s endorsement is still in place. But in the long run, this field is essentially frozen — no new blood can enter, and existing players cannot expand, so the market landscape is now set. For Bitcoin concept stocks, this is a victory for vested interests, as the threshold has been raised.

The game of vested interests, newcomers can't get in at all. MSCI's move has completely blocked all latecomers.

MSCI this move is basically locking everything in, vested interests are ecstatic, newcomers have no chance at all. MicroStrategy is just lying back and making money, latecomers can only watch in frustration. How do you play this game? A reassurance pill? I think it's a tightening spell, short-term stability but long-term suffocation. The most advanced way to freeze the market, the moat of Bitcoin concept stocks is getting stronger and stronger. Isn't this the hidden rule of the capital circle? Those who come in get the door locked behind them.

This is a classic case of an elder protection law. MicroStrategy wins by default, and newcomers shouldn't even think about getting on board. The rules written by vested interests favor existing players, causing new entrants to suffer losses. Is that fair? MSCI's move is quite ruthless—vested interests are ecstatic, while new entrants are directly suffocated. Basically, this policy is creating a protective bubble around MicroStrategy. New concept stocks want to enter? Dream on. Not only are the barriers raised, but they've also been frozen. This is essentially sentencing the entire track to death.

I should have known earlier, MSCI is just protecting the big players; retail investors still have to take the back seat.

Typical vested interests close the door, MicroStrategy folks sit back and enjoy the benefits, while newcomers can only watch the show...

Quite a hardcore move, MSCI is actually safeguarding MicroStrategy. Newcomers shouldn't even think about getting a share. The vested interests are ecstatic; this is the art of building walls. The threshold has been raised. To put it nicely, it's regulation; to be blunt, it's monopoly. Stable in the short term, dead water in the long run—I've seen this trick too many times. How is MSCI still helping to maintain the old order? I'm truly amazed.

The vested interests are celebrating, and all the newcomers are kept outside the door.

The vested interests are ecstatic, while the newcomers are blocked outside the door. MSCI's move is really ruthless, giving MicroStrategy a permanent iron rice bowl and blocking out all later entrants. However, speaking of this, does freezing the market like this really benefit the BTC ecosystem... It seems to make it more prone to stagnation. In a field of dwarfs, the true leader will be the one who can break out of this box.

This is just highlighting MicroStrategy's move—newcomers shouldn't even think about getting a share of the pie. With this move by MSCI, it’s a win for those holding positions, but newcomers are just out of luck. The vested interests are ecstatic, and I really think the market structure is just set in stone like this. Early entrants sit back and win, latecomers can’t even get close—interesting. So, positioning is still key. If you miss MicroStrategy, it’s gone.
