Just added a crypto payment card to my mobile wallet! Tried it out, and it really allows direct spending with mainstream cryptocurrencies. BTC, ETH, SOL, BASE—these are all supported. This is the true realization of crypto—it's not just holding, but actually spending.

I used to think coins were only for trading and flipping, but now with the payment card, it feels like a new world has opened up. The payment card was set up early, but to be honest, it's not very useful... The merchant integration process is also too slow.

ngl the merchant adoption part is where it gets tricky... like yeah cards are cute but the real question nobody asks is what happens to the incentive structures when you actually need velocity? historical precedent suggests these things tend to hit friction around the stakeholder alignment phase, just saying

Payment cards are indeed a good layout, but when considering transaction fees and on-chain costs, the hash power return rate is actually more stable. After observing SOL's TPS performance, payment scenarios do have an advantage.
