Recently spent some time researching a storage protocol on the Sui chain, and honestly, it's quite interesting. This project mainly addresses the issue of large file storage—such as images, videos, and AI datasets—where traditional centralized cloud services are prohibitively expensive. This solution reduces costs by 80 to 100 times through erasure coding technology, which in itself speaks volumes.

What is the core innovation? Supporting the feature of programmable blobs—simply put, data can seamlessly interact with Move smart contracts. This is still relatively rare in the Web3 scene.

From a tokenomics perspective, the utility of the ecosystem token is quite clear—paying for storage fees, staking to ensure network security, and participating in governance. As ecosystem applications expand, the burn mechanism for usage fees can create deflationary pressure, making it a self-regulating design.

The practical application space is substantial. DeFi needs to store on-chain historical data, NFT projects require high-definition assets storage, and gaming and AI applications have an even greater demand for large-capacity data. In an era where data becomes a core asset, verifiable and censorship-resistant storage solutions indeed fill a gap.

However, whether it can be widely adopted depends on whether the ecosystem has real user demand and project integrations. These infrastructure projects are usually quite dull in the early stages, but once they gain traction, changes can happen rapidly. Interested friends can keep an eye on this.

80 to 100 times cost reduction is correct, but ultimately, whether this kind of project succeeds depends on whether there is a genuine dapp integration. Otherwise, no matter how cheap it is, no one will use it.

80 to 100 times cost reduction sounds like another messianic promise, but the key is that someone actually has to use it.

Lowering costs by 80 to 100 times... This number is a bit shocking, but what really makes money is whether the ecosystem has genuine traffic. The infrastructure is just afraid of cold starts.

80 to 100 times cost difference? If that really becomes a reality, it would be impressive. However, when it comes to infrastructure, many talk big but few actually follow through.

The cost is directly cut by 80 to 100 times. This number sounds outrageous, and it depends on whether the subsequent ecosystem can truly be built up.

80 to 100 times cost reduction? Sounds impressive, but the question is how much real storage traffic data on the chain supports this number. Don't tell me it's just conceptual marketing again.

80 to 100 times cost reduction? That's a bit of a bold claim. Whether it can actually be achieved in practice remains to be seen. --- Programmable blobs sound mysterious, but the key question is whether anyone is actually using them. --- Both infrastructure and censorship resistance—I've heard these phrases too many times. Having an ecosystem is the real hard truth. --- Token burn and deflationary models depend on whether there is genuine trading volume to support them; otherwise, it's just a pie in the sky. --- With so many projects piling up on the Sui chain, why pick this one? I think it's better to wait until a leading application integrates. --- The cost is indeed attractive, but centralized cloud services are stable even if more expensive. Will users really switch over? --- The real issue is how to survive the dull periods; many infrastructure projects die here. --- Verifiable storage is indeed a blank spot; it all depends on who can seize this window of opportunity. --- A dull start followed by a surge later sounds like a story, but the risks are also very high.
