【Blockchain Rhythm】 There’s an interesting development. Kite AI recently joined the Linux Foundation’s Agentic AI Foundation(AAIF), becoming the organization’s first AI payment project member.
The organization’s lineup is quite impressive—top AI and blockchain companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Block are involved, along with infrastructure giants such as Microsoft, Google, AWS, Cloudflare, and Bloomberg. Essentially, they are working together to develop open standards and interoperable infrastructure, preparing for the production-level Agentic AI era.
Kite’s positioning is quite clear. They mainly aim to focus on three areas: first, verifiable identity to ensure the authenticity of agent operations; second, programmable governance to impose rules on AI agent behavior; third, native settlement with stablecoins, using stablecoins as the currency for AI interactions.
In simple terms, they want AI agents to be able to execute tasks and collaborate in the real world while verifying who you are and what you’re doing, auditing the entire process, and supporting large-scale interactions. This is indeed a necessary problem to solve for the upcoming Agent era.

Verifiable identity is quite interesting, but to be honest, can the settlement layer really be implemented... It feels like a bunch of big shots just endorsing each other again.

Another big shot collaboration, with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Microsoft coming together. It feels like the intelligent agent settlement layer is about to take off... Verified identity needs to be done well, or fake agents will be everywhere.

Kite has some good ideas, but how many of these alliances will actually come to fruition in the end... Just having OpenAI and Anthropic backing isn't enough; the key is whether this verification system can truly prevent malicious AI behavior, or if it's just another seemingly beautiful framework.

It seems to be another story of "alliance endorsement," with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Block all involved, certainly making a big splash. But I'm more curious—how are the two sets of concepts, verifiable identity and programmable governance, actually implemented in the tech stack? It's easy to shout slogans, but the real challenge lies in actual implementation.

Hey, I just want to ask, can Kite really figure out how to play with AI payments? It feels like it's just big companies taking the credit.
---
Verified identity, programmable governance... sounds good, but how exactly will it be implemented? That's the key, right?
---
Another project joining the big foundation. Is it innovation or just riding the hype? We’ll see real results with actual funds later.
---
Intelligent agent settlement layer? I'm a bit confused about this concept. Can someone briefly explain what this thing is for?
---
OpenAI, Anthropic are both here. The lineup is indeed luxurious, but ultimately, open standards come down to execution.
---
I just want to know when we can actually use it. Don’t tell me it’s another PPT-era promise.
---
So basically, I still support the idea of putting AI into a rule chain, but the difficulty might be beyond imagination.

Wow, this is the real alliance. OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, and Google are all together, and Kite has jumped on the bandwagon this time.

Kite AI making a move into the Linux Foundation is truly impressive, as the first AI payment project member... This pace is a bit fierce.
If they can really handle identity verification and governance for intelligent agents, the blockchain path might need to be reconsidered.
OpenAI and Anthropic have entered the scene, this seems to be about setting standards, which is a bit concerning as it might be the giants setting the rules...
Verifiable identity + programmable governance, sounds familiar... Isn't this exactly what Web3 has been advocating all along? Still, we need to see how it actually plays out.
AI agents with rule constraints are truly production-grade, no doubt about that. The only question is why Kite became the first member.
This lineup is really luxurious, it feels like laying the groundwork for the Agent economy.
