On December 31, according to the latest FBI data, in 2025, U.S. citizens lost over $333 million through Bitcoin ATM scams, a significant increase from $250 million in 2024. There are currently over 45,000 Bitcoin ATMs across the country, allowing users to quickly transfer cash into any digital wallet worldwide. Once the transaction is completed, the funds are almost impossible to recover. Law enforcement has begun taking action.
