The market in 2025 is really hard to predict. For mainstream coins, the losses aren't too severe, but I’ve been suffering from playing with altcoins. Shorting meme coins like Alpaca, Ta, pipin, each one has resulted in losses of several thousand USD. My account has shrunk from 50,000 USD to just over 30,000 USD, with a paper loss of nearly 50%.
The most heartbreaking part is that even with such a shrinkage in my account, a major exchange still rated my risk level above 90% of users. That’s unbelievable. If it weren’t for this data, I wouldn’t even realize that my losses aren’t even the worst. On the other hand, those who don’t play at all must automatically be in the top 1% in terms of safety, right?
Curious about everyone’s current account situation—how much have you all lost in this round of the market?

This data is outrageous, I’ve been scammed too, I feel you
50% loss... Bro, your mental strength must be incredible
Shitcoins are just gambling, there’s no right or wrong, only win or lose
My account is also bleeding, but I’ve had better luck than you
Those who don’t play really won, they just lie back and enjoy the win
Shorting these妖币 is just gambling on the emotions above, too risky
Is losing half of your account not the worst? Damn, how much loss would make you despair?
Shitcoin markets are completely different worlds from mainstream ones, really not to be messed with
The logic behind this risk score is flawed, clearly a joke
Losing a few thousand USD like this, how can those who blow up their accounts survive?
2025 is truly surreal, mainstream is just hanging on, shitcoins are dying

Shorting meme coins is like digging your own grave. A 50% retracement indicates that your risk exposure setup is problematic, and this isn't due to a poor market.
Speaking of the data showing that over 90% of users have risk assessments, I recall—most people don't even have accounts. How do exchanges evaluate them, right?
The volatility of altcoins is just like that; impermanent loss is a frequent visitor. Next time, it's better to hold more stablecoins as a buffer and avoid going all in on one direction.
Mainstream coins have a significantly stronger anti-drop capability. This market cycle serves as a lesson. With the account shrinking by nearly 50%, it's definitely time to reflect on position management.
Basically, it's too high leverage and poor stop-loss management. In this market cycle, just staying alive means you've already won half the battle.

50% directly moves heaven and earth, this altcoin really is a disaster machine
---
Not playing indeed wins, lying down and winning 100%
---
The worst hasn't even been the worst yet, this setting is outrageous, how did the worst survive
---
Lama pulling that thing should be avoided, why still throwing money in
---
From 50,000 to 30,000, the account shrank so fast I really can't hold on
---
Risk assessment over 90 is already considered pretty bad? That's interesting compared to the benchmark
---
The speed at which妖币 cuts leeks is impressive, every time gets caught
---
Shorting can still lose like this, this operation is a bit exciting
---
The most heartbreaking thing is that someone else lost even more than you, just thinking about it makes you uncomfortable
---
Now anyone who can still see their account needs to burn incense, mainstream coins are not doing well either

Altcoins inherently have an unbalanced risk-reward ratio. From a hash power perspective, now is the time to deploy.
A 50% decline is actually okay over the entire investment cycle; the key is to look at your cost structure.
I'm mainly betting on the fundamentals of BTC and ETH. As for altcoins, consider it as tuition fees—much luckier than those who go all-in.
That risk assessment ranking is actually an interesting data point, indicating that most people are more conservative, which in turn proves you're still actively trading in the market.
If you have spare funds at this position, it might be worth calculating the breakeven period—more reliable than blindly cutting losses.

Shitcoin really tricks people, a single all-in and it's gone
Copycat stuff is just gambling, I've already accepted it
Fifty thousand turns into thirty thousand, ah, this is the daily life of Web3
Those who didn't play actually won, the free-rider players never lose
It's all my greed, next time I'll only stick to mainstream coins
Shorting these crappy coins is just asking for trouble, I've learned my lesson
What does a 90% ranking mean? It just shows that players are really losing money
This round of market reveals human greed very clearly
The competition isn't over yet, who knows what will happen next
Thirty thousand can still turn around, it all depends on whether I can cut losses later

just realized your risk score is basically a percentile flex disguised as a warning label lmao. those non-players sitting at 99th percentile literally playing the ultimate 0-risk strategy while you're down 50% and still beating 90% of degenerates... the math doesn't math
