Hard to say if YouTube's cracking down on creators or X is simply proving itself as the superior video distribution channel. The shift in where Web3 communities are sharing content is becoming impossible to ignore.

YouTube is really about to be overtaken by X now, creators are all fleeing.

ngl, the "shift" narrative is exactly what happens when a platform gets desperate for relevance. youtube's probably just enforcing the same rules they always had—systemic risk avoidance disguised as policy. x pivoting to video distribution? that's not superiority, that's correlation masquerading as causation. smart money already knows which channel has actual liquidity depth.

X should have turned things around a long time ago. YouTube's attitude towards creators over the past few years has really been disappointing.

YouTube really underperformed this time, and it's understandable that X is gaining momentum.

YouTube is definitely shooting itself in the foot with this move; creators have all left for X, so who cares anymore?
