Having seen many outstanding projects and witnessed some top DeFi protocols make the same fatal mistake—their token releases are too aggressive and too early.

Truly well-managed projects would never do this. They understand the importance of controlling their token supply. It’s not about power itself, but about maintaining room for decision-making—ensuring every step is well thought out rather than rushing to act in desperation. Token supply is your leverage, your safeguard; during market volatility or declining attention, it prevents you from being forced into foolish actions.

Why are so many projects eager to dump tokens? The reasons are often straightforward: the funds are exhausted, the operational period has ended, and there are no other options. Tokens become the last card, and they frantically use them to buy time, generate hype, increase liquidity, or attract users. While this may seem reasonable in the short term, it always leads to disaster in the long run.

Where is the fundamental problem? Projects should reserve sufficient operational funds and avoid pushing themselves into a corner. This is precisely a common flaw in our industry—most teams rely solely on token sales for fundraising.

Once that money is spent, it’s gone forever. What disappears with it is control over the project’s direction and the ability to provide long-term incentives. True management means being vigilant in times of peace, maintaining ample resources to stabilize the situation at critical moments, rather than only rewarding the most immediate and short-sighted actions.

Another project that died at its own hands, how ironic.

It's the same old trick again—no planning for fundraising, and in the end, it's all about dumping coins to keep it going.

That's right, it's all the same trick. The last project was the same way—raising funds just to burn money, and then they were desperate to dump all the inventory tokens, which caused it to crash really fast.

Exactly right, that's the real reason I see those projects collapse. Once the coin drops, it's all over.
