Are you still holding those oracle tokens that only transmit prices? They might be a bit outdated now.

Imagine the era from feature phones to smartphones. The sturdy, durable feature phones that could even crack walnuts were eventually phased out. Not because they broke, but because the times demanded more.

The on-chain world today is similar. The RWA market needs to interpret PDF documents, AI applications require running model computations, and GameFi needs to verify random numbers. These complex tasks cannot be solved by simple price transmission.

Oracles are undergoing a generational leap. From Oracle 1.0's price feeding era to the current Oracle 3.0—truly off-chain computing platforms.

This upgrade is reflected in three dimensions:

**First, it can "see".** Upload an invoice image, and the system can accurately recognize whether the amount is correct. This is OCR capability.

**Second, it can "calculate".** Input risk control models, and the system can determine whether a loan should be issued. This is where privacy-preserving computation plays a role.

**Third, it can "think".** Two AI models compete, and the system acts as a judge to decide the winner. This requires ZK verification support.

While the market is still competing over who can transmit prices faster, the new generation of oracles is already building true off-chain computing platforms.

Capital markets are always chasing new narratives. The story of Oracle 1.0 has been told for four years. Now, it's time for Oracle 3.0 to take the stage.

Have you updated your holdings to keep pace with this version upgrade?

The analogy of feature phones was spot on, but honestly, even entering Oracle 3.0 now might not guarantee profits. --- I already closed my positions long ago. It's hard to say how long this new narrative can last. --- The logic seems very complete, but I don't know who will pay for these computing capabilities. --- PDF recognition, risk control models, ZK verification... sound impressive, but do we really need them on-chain? --- The story of Oracle 1.0 has been told for four years. Now switching to 3.0, and the retail investors are always chasing the next version. --- It feels like taking what can be done off-chain, wrapping it in a ZK shell, and then claiming an upgrade. --- I believe in RWA, but does GameFi really need such complex oracles for verifying random numbers? --- This logic is similar to the call for DeFi to reduce dimensions back then. In the end, it's still just for fun. --- My positions haven't changed, but I really need to see who is actually doing off-chain calculations.

Another new narrative for cutting leeks, this time it's Oracle 3.0? I have some faith in this wave, but how many projects can really get off the ground? Let's see who can truly implement privacy computing, rather than just a revolution on paper. It sounds good, but it still depends on real on-chain demand, brother. Most applications are still playing with concepts. The analogy from feature phones to smartphones is good, but who really knows what an oracle can evolve into? Let's wait for subsequent funding and ecosystem development before deciding whether to get on board.

The part about the feature phone smashing walnuts was quite a stunt, but honestly, will this cycle of replacement just be another hype-driven show?

It sounds flashy, but the real question is whether any projects can actually implement these concepts. Don't just tell stories.

Another new narrative about cutting leeks again. I heard the analogy of feature phones evolving into smartphones last year.

You're trying to persuade us to change positions again. We've heard this spiel three times already.

It's been so long, and I still haven't seen the true form of 3.0. Is it all just hype and conceptual speculation?

From a technical architecture perspective, the claim that Oracle 1.0 to 3.0 represents a leap is somewhat oversimplified. It is worth noting that the number of off-chain computation solutions currently capable of stable on-chain operation is very limited.

This explanation sounds nice, but are there really projects that can handle "seeing," "calculating," and "thinking" all at once? It seems like there are more people just bragging.
