Since the development of blockchain, many people are still stuck on old topics like mining and consensus. Actually, things have changed long ago. What really holds back progress now? Data.

Imagine, no matter how advanced a smart contract is, if it cannot access real-world information, it’s just a decoration. Without reliable data sources, even the most sophisticated contracts are useless. That’s why the seemingly insignificant oracle is actually the key to the entire ecosystem.

What APRO is doing is building the infrastructure for the information layer. Unlike some applications that rush to create short-term hotspots, it provides a stable data channel at the foundational level. Such infrastructure is often overlooked in the early stages, but once the ecosystem matures, it becomes indispensable for everyone.

Looking ahead two steps, trends like on-chain real-world assets, AI systems, and blockchain integration are accelerating. The requirements for on-chain applications are also evolving—no longer just asking "Is the data correct?" but also "Can the data be continuously supplied?" Where the data comes from, how to verify it, and how to update it—all these factors influence the system’s overall trustworthiness. APRO has thoroughly considered these issues during the design phase, which demonstrates true foresight.

From a certain perspective, oracles are not just auxiliary modules but are critical to whether blockchain can truly support economic activities. As long as the data layer isn’t robust enough, innovation at the application layer will always be building on sand.

APRO’s value may not be immediately obvious, but as blockchain gradually evolves from a testing ground into essential infrastructure, this "invisible" systemic capability will become crucial.

Ultimately, for blockchain to operate, it must first understand what is happening in the world. What APRO is doing is building this bridge of information.

Oracles, it's quite accurate to say... it's just that this type of infrastructure always takes until the ecosystem is truly mature to realize its value. According to database data, this "waiting" process is often much longer than you might expect.

The data layer is the ceiling; this must be acknowledged.

The notion that "data is king" has been heard too many times, but it indeed hits the core. However, honestly, how many reliable oracles are there? Most are still in gambling. APRO's infrastructure itself is a gamble, betting on whether the ecosystem can truly grow. Rushing to build bridges now, only to find the ecosystem gone once the bridges are built, is pointless. Don't just look at how thorough the design is; the key is whether it can survive until that day. The underlying components are often the easiest to be bottlenecked. To put it simply, it's infrastructure—either build it like Chainlink or it becomes history. At this stage, talking about how important data is doesn't matter; what matters is who can really make this work reliably.

The data layer is truly severely underestimated. We've been focusing on consensus and mining stuff all along, but those are not the real pain points.

The data layer, which is the bottleneck, has indeed been underestimated. Oracles are that invisible critical point.

Oh no, it's the infrastructure narrative again... I just want to know how much it can rise in the short term?

Building on the beach is a perfect metaphor; indeed, the unseen infrastructure is often the most valuable.
