Weekly Market Analysis in the Crypto Circle (12.14)
Summary:
1. The operational logic of precious metals
2. Including the Japanese interest rate hike, the quadruple witching day on the 19th anticipates a major volatility event
3. The bottom is likely not on the 19th, but whether it occurs a few days earlier or later is still uncertain
4. Liquidity issues
5. Medium-term short positions are not highly reliable and should include capital preservation
6. Regardless, next week or the week after, consider going long
Operational notes:
1. $BTC short position is held, take profit at 80,600
2. $ETH short position is held, take profit at 2,620
3. $SOL short position is held, take profit at 121
4. Bitcoin is long at 80,000, add positions at 78,500, take profit at 100,300
5. Ethereum is long at 2,600, add positions at 2,550, take profit at 3,446
6. SOL is long at 118, add positions at 115, take profit at 153.5
The short positions are still being added, but I am less confident in this short than in the previous two trend trades. Everyone should manage their positions carefully during operation. After Bitcoin's short position gains more than 5,000 points, set a stop-loss to secure profits and take profits downward.
The worst-case scenario is that the 80,600 low from last month is not broken, then it is pushed up to break even. In this case, not only will the current short profit be lost, but also a significant portion of the long profit will be missed.
However, considering that a weekly trend usually lasts 12 weeks or even longer, I personally lean towards 80,600 not being the bottom.
It is worth noting that Ethereum and SOL need to exit simultaneously after Bitcoin hits a new low. So if Bitcoin hits the take profit but Ethereum and SOL do not, manual take profit and open longs are necessary, and pending orders should be canceled.
Finally, SOL could potentially drop to around 102, but this is just a possibility, not a certainty. Therefore, manage your long positions well, and consider adding some longs around 102.
Ethereum can also add some longs around 2400, which may or may not be hit, but if it does, there will be a reaction.
