Adam Back dropped an interesting take recently - we're apparently still in the opening chapter of this bull cycle. What's driving it? He's pointing at the big players: sovereign wealth funds, traditional banks, and pension systems starting to position themselves.

His advice? Pull back the chart. The whole 'zoom out' perspective matters when institutional money is just beginning to flow in. Classic long-term holding strategy might be the play here if you believe the runway's still ahead of us.

Worth considering how different this cycle looks when the capital comes from pension funds rather than retail FOMO.

Hi, I said this three years ago, and now there's finally a big name endorsing it—feels great! --- Institutions really are here, even pension funds are getting in... My small losses suddenly don't feel like losses anymore, haha. --- Taking the long view, that's spot on. I got depressed watching candlesticks every day because I wasn't looking at the bigger picture. --- The problem is, who can be sure the bull market has really started? We thought that last cycle too... --- Pension funds won't FOMO and sell too early like us, that really is different. --- I've been using the three-year holding strategy for a while, because honestly, I can't pull out anyway, haha. --- Back isn't wrong, but if retail investors go all in now, they still deserve to lose, bitter laugh. --- Sovereign wealth funds entering the market is definitely a signal. Now I just want to see how far this wave can go. --- This time really feels different, but I feel that way every time... --- Long-term holding isn't a problem, the key is living to see the day you can cash in.

Institutional entry is really different, this wave is not the feeling of retail investors buying the bottom When my pension started to buy coins, my mother asked me if I wanted to match some It's right to zoom in from a distance, but I still want to get rich quickly haha If the sovereign fund is laying out, our little bit of money really has to be hodl Back Speaking of the opening stage, the follow-up space is really big This time it's not a FOMO game, it feels like the rules of the game have changed The banks are coming, and retail investors are still carrying spot, and the pattern is too bad It's right to hold it for a long time, but I'm afraid I don't have that patience I bet that this time it is really a big cycle, not a rebound The money of pension funds is much more reliable than retail FOMO, which is called true faith The institution is really here, let's hold it obediently

Are the institutional bosses really here? I'm going, how many times have I heard this set of rhetoric from a distance... The result is not a high takeover It's a good thing for pension funds to enter, but who still dares to hodl at this time, I've already sold half of it at the high point... Wait, why am I so panicked

Institutions entering the market really make a difference. With stable players like pension funds coming in, the craziness in the crypto space will be toned down. Back, this guy is absolutely right—right now it’s all about who can hold out the longest without making a move. What does it mean when pension funds come in? It means this is no longer a casino, it’s an investment. If the opening phase is already like this, what’s it going to be like later on? Retail FOMO and institutional positioning are two completely different rhythms. We small retail investors need to learn to slow down. This cycle really feels like it’s going to break out of the niche—doesn’t long-term holding sound appealing? Taking a long-term perspective sounds simple, but it’s so damn hard to actually do. Even banks are entering the market—do we really need to say anything more?
