The spot and contract price differences on lighter are still quite frequent.
Previously, I only did arbitrage between contracts. So I’ve now added spot and contract arbitrage. You need to prepare ETH and USDC in your account in advance. This way, you can do two-way arbitrage. The downside is that the capital efficiency isn’t great. But the goal is just to farm points. If efficiency is low, so be it. I don’t expect to make much money from this anyway. I’m still running grid strategies as usual, and with arbitrage added, this is the approach for now. The script I previously open-sourced was only for monitoring, it didn’t have the arbitrage execution feature. I’ll look for a chance to open-source it in the future. Currently, the script hasn’t been optimized to the level where a beginner can use it effortlessly. There are still details to refine, so for now I won’t open-source the arbitrage part.
