This sharp drop in Ethereum makes it really crucial whether the $3,000 level can hold.
If it can stabilize above $3,000, I’ll just treat that recent wick as a shakeout—which means there might still be room for a rebound afterward. But if it can’t even get back above $3,000? Then it’s basically game over, and the outlook doesn’t look good no matter how you slice it. That’s why I’m keeping a close eye on this level.
Honestly, even though I made some gains from my short positions, I actually hope BTC and ETH can show some strength. Why? Because a one-sided downtrend is really tough to trade—you can’t see where the bottom is at all, and if you chase the short, you’re likely to get caught by a sudden reversal. In a choppy, range-bound market, it’s easier to trade both long and short.
So here’s the question: Can ETH really reclaim $3,000?
But the last time I was this optimistic, the market just crashed straight down... Is this going to be another jinx? Whatever, I’ll just play it by ear.

Talk about going long only if it drops below 3000.

Bullish and bearish predictions were only half right
