I spent the whole day communicating with them today, and I'm exhausted.

Here's roughly what happened: the foreign CTO from the early days of the project cashed out all his holdings when the token price went up and then just walked away. Now, trying to get back control of the account is so difficult it makes you doubt life.

The good news is, we finally got the CTO's account back. The bad news? We had to pay a hefty price—he only let go after receiving 400 USDT.

There was no other way, so as soon as we got the account back, we immediately found a new operations manager to take over. After a whole day of this, I feel completely drained.

The tug-of-war between project teams and early members can sometimes be even more exhausting than market volatility.

Can't be manipulated, these foreigners are really something, dump their bags and leave... Early team drama is even more discouraging than a bear market 400U just to get account permissions, this deal isn't worth it Seriously, internal team fighting hurts more than a rug pull With teammates like this, might as well have none Making account permissions this complicated, unbelievable Got rugged again, this time by my own people

400U is still considered cheap, I’ve seen even crazier ones... Those early people were really outrageous. --- This is why I never do projects with foreigners; once they leave, the account becomes their bargaining chip. --- Emotionally drained +1, dealing with people like this really wears you down. --- As long as you get it back, that’s fine. 400U for some peace and quiet is worth it. --- Dealing with early members is even more annoying than a rug pull... --- Milking it for all it’s worth, interesting, but at least the account came back, so that’s a win. --- Getting completely emptied out is accurate; this kind of war of attrition is just that disgusting.

You think 400U is enough to settle this? This guy sure has a big appetite. These early team issues hurt even more than a rug pull. Compromise after compromise, just ended up getting squeezed for another cut. This kind of internal conflict is really exhausting, even worse than a 50% drop. I advise you to clarify roles and permissions early, don’t let yourselves get exploited again.

These foreigners are really outrageous. After cashing out, they just want to disappear, and now they're even trying to extort more... 400U just to transfer account control? That’s a huge loss. The early team’s mess is honestly more heartbreaking than the price drop. The cost of an insider is really high, bro, you must be exhausted. This is why I stay away from projects with big teams. Whether we can recover depends on whether the new operations team can put out the fire. Damn, dealing with this kind of thing too often could literally make you sick. Early team battle wars > market crash, that’s for sure. Next time this happens, should we cut losses earlier? Team conflicts can kill a project—token price is secondary. Selling account access for 400 bucks? This industry is really chaotic.

You want to settle for just 400U? Hah, these foreigners really know how to do the math. --- Early members are always like this—cash out and run. Now they even dare to ask for control. --- Mentally exhausted, truly exhausted. It hurts more than losing money. --- Isn't this happening all over the crypto space? It's never-ending. --- Honestly, it's still about unclear power distribution. Account permissions should have been sorted out from the start. --- If losing 400U is what it takes, so be it. At least the account is back. What matters now is running things well moving forward. --- This kind of infighting hurts even more than a 50% market drop. At least with a drop, you can wait for a rebound. --- Why does this storyline feel so familiar? Every project seems to go through this. --- ngl, this is exactly why you need multi-signature wallets. Single-account permissions should have been scrapped long ago. --- Getting the account back is already a win. Now it's time to recover, step by step.

Paying 400U for a lesson is worth it, at least I got the account back. People like CTOs are really something—they run off as soon as they make money, and now they still dare to ask for more. No wonder it's exhausting. When the early team falls apart like that, it feels even worse than a market crash. This is just daily life in web3—people’s hearts are even easier to break than code. I advise you to remember this foreigner and never hire this type again. Account security needs to be tightened up, otherwise you’ll have to deal with another mess for a whole day.
