Been running experiments with different crypto payment cards over the past few weeks. The goal? Shift as much daily spending as possible away from traditional banks.

Still keeping the old system for boring stuff like utility bills and mortgage – can't escape those just yet. But for everything else? Going full crypto.

Right now my Tria card handles most transactions. Works smoothly for groceries, coffee runs, online shopping. The Etherfi card just arrived though, and I'm curious to see how it stacks up. Initial impressions are promising but need more real-world testing.

Anyone else making this transition? What's your experience been like with Web3 finance replacing legacy banking for everyday purchases?

Tria is okay to use, but I've seen a lot of complaints online about the Etherfi card. Don't get ripped off.

Can daily expenses really be covered entirely by crypto? I still feel it's more reassuring to keep some traditional accounts.

When will bank cards be able to accept unemployment benefits? I still have to rely on Tria to get by.

ngl tria is actually pretty good to use, but etherfi? We'll have to see how it performs after using it for a while.

I've been using Tria for a while, and I should give Etherfi a try as well. But it still depends on whether the gas fees can beat the fees of traditional cards.

ngl the mortgage thing got me laughing... like bro you're still tethered to the legacy system where it actually matters lmao. but yeah tria's been solid for the microtransa cascade, curious if etherfi holds under pressure or if it liquidates your coffee budget mid-transaction fr

NGL, I like this approach, but I'm just worried that if the card suddenly has an issue one day, I won't be able to use it...

Hmm... are crypto cards really reliable, or is it just another scheme to rip off users?
