Don't remind me again today

8 years ago, I entered the crypto space with 50,000 yuan. Now, my account has grown to over 50 million. At 37, just an ordinary guy from Fujian, I didn’t rely on any exclusive insider info, nor did I get insanely lucky. I just stuck stubbornly to a set of trading principles that seem “stupid” to most people.

I’ve seen madness in bull markets and ghosts in bear markets. Over the years, I’ve distilled 6 ironclad rules from my hard-earned lessons. They might seem ordinary to you, but they have literally saved my life.

**Sharp rallies with gentle pullbacks? Don’t rush to exit**
When prices shoot up quickly, most people panic and want to cash out immediately. But take a closer look—if the pullback is slow, like squeezing toothpaste, it’s usually the big players shaking out weak hands. If you exit now, you might just be making room for them. The real danger is when there’s a massive surge in volume followed by a sudden crash—that’s the classic bull trap.

**After a flash crash, a sluggish rebound? Watch out for a bull trap**
If the price plunges with a big red candle and then rebounds like a snail, don’t assume it’s a great buying opportunity. This pattern is often a deliberate shakeout by the big players, followed by a final bull trap. You think you’ve bought the dip, but really, you’re just holding the bag.

**High-volume at the top isn’t always a death sentence**
A lot of people see big volume at the top and think a crash is coming. But here’s the truth: the real danger is when the price peaks and the volume dries up, or it’s stuck at the top and can’t go higher. That’s when you need to be most cautious—a high without volume is like a building with no foundation.

**Single-day spike in volume at the bottom? Stay calm**
If you see a sudden spike in volume on a single day at the bottom, don’t rush in. That’s often bait. You need to wait until there are several consecutive days of increased volume, ideally after a period of low-volume consolidation. That’s the real signal that accumulation is happening.

**Candlesticks show the surface—emotions are hidden in the volume**
Too many people focus on candlestick charts to judge ups and downs, but that’s backwards. Price movement is just the outcome; the real cause is in the volume. Volume is the thermometer of market consensus, and price is just its shadow. Trading crypto is really about trading emotions, and those emotions are reflected in volume changes.

**“Nothingness” is the highest level**
This is my favorite: No attachment, so you can stay out of the market and wait for opportunities. No greed, so you don’t chase the top. No fear, so you dare to buy during panic. The true masters in crypto know how to stay calm at critical moments and not get dragged around by market sentiment.

Most of the time, you lose money not because you act too slowly, but because you’re fumbling around in the noise of the market. What truly helps you break through is having people and methods that help you see the bigger picture and set the right rhythm. Avoid detours, achieve stable profits—not by luck, but by having a system.

The words are indeed harsh, but can this theory really make 50 million, or is it just the result of picking the right coins?

What you said is quite honest, but the relationship between volume and price really takes time to figure out. It's not something you can use just by reading an article once.

Sounds good, but I’ve already used this theory a long time ago and have since changed direction.
