#数字货币市场洞察 Tonight, a slew of US economic data is being released, and these numbers are sending market sentiment through the roof!

First, layoffs data—Challenger corporate layoffs YoY in November soared to 175.30%, and MoM surged by 183%. This rate of increase is like riding a rocket; companies’ contraction signals are practically written on their faces, and the chill in the labor market is no joke.

At 21:30, initial jobless claims came out: 216,000(, market expected 220,000), slightly below expectations; four-week average is 223,750, continuing claims 196,000(, expected 196,100). On the surface, the data looks stable, but the job market is clearly hitting the brakes—this kind of “mild cooling” is actually even more intriguing.

Two more waves of data are coming: at 23:00, the Global Supply Chain Pressure Index dropped by 0.06, indicating a slight easing of pressure; at 23:30, EIA natural gas storage decreased by 11 billion cubic feet(, expected -18 billion), so the actual contraction was much smaller than anticipated—energy markets were a bit surprised by this.

Looking at these numbers together, they directly relate to the Fed’s rate-cutting pace: slowing employment and accelerating layoffs are likely to push rate-cut expectations higher once again. Crypto markets and US stocks will probably dance to the data tonight—every percentage point of volatility points to real money direction.

Layoffs up 175%? This is just insane. It really feels like the Fed has to cut interest rates this time.

A 175% layoff rate is unbelievable; it feels like things are about to collapse.

Layoffs up 175%? This rocket is about to leave the planet. The job market is really frozen. Are rate cut expectations about to take off again?

A 175% layoff rate—how insane is that? Feels like the US economy is really going downhill.

Layoffs surged 183%? Damn, this is paving the way for rate cuts. If the Fed really cuts rates, the crypto market is going to skyrocket. --- Employment data just slammed the brakes, but natural gas inventories aren't that bad, this market is a bit confusing right now. --- Damn, the data is coming in so dense—staring at the screen until midnight is sure to make you dizzy. But as long as there's money, who cares about being tired? --- Layoffs at a 175% annual rate... companies are really trimming the fat. This is actually a huge negative—or rather, a positive for rate cuts. --- Supply chain pressures have eased a bit, and energy isn't that bad either. Feels like the data is working together, testing the Fed's bottom line wave after wave. --- On nights with data like this, it's either a big win or a big loss, nothing in between. I'll just sit back and watch the show. --- Guys, can we rally this time, or is this just another bear trap? There's so much data, it's honestly a bit chaotic. --- Rate cut expectations being hyped up is a given, the question is when will they actually cut, not just hype the expectations.

nah the culprit here is opportunity cost, everyone's pricing in cuts too early again... seen this movie before tbh
