#数字货币市场洞察 Long-standing wallet suddenly moves large amount: 30,000 ETH sold continuously since November

On-chain monitoring shows that an Ethereum address established in 2017 has been very active recently. This wallet, which has held coins for nearly a decade, transferred 30,603 ETH to a major exchange and Galaxy Digital, with an average transaction price of $3,299, involving over $70 million. Interestingly, this address has had historical capital flows with Fengbushi and FBG Capital.

What signals does this veteran player’s move really send?

Don’t rush to conclusions. Large-scale selling doesn’t necessarily indicate a bearish outlook. The motives for long-term holders to cash out now may be varied: rebalancing portfolios, moving to other investment opportunities, or even meeting operational funding needs. In the market, “feints” are common; behind apparent selling pressure, there may be a deeper strategic logic.

How should ordinary investors respond? Here are some practical suggestions:

First, track on-chain real flows and don’t be scared by a single large transfer. Funds moving to an exchange doesn’t mean an immediate dump—could just be for rebalancing or OTC deal preparations.

Second, study the “social networks” of these old wallets. Their counterparties often hint at true capital preferences and industry trends.

Third, maintain independent judgment. When others panic, it’s the best test of your cognitive depth. Panic is the most expensive cost.

The market will always have volatility—what’s lacking is the insight to see through it.

Here we go again? Old addresses transferring coins = dumping on the market, how simple-minded do you have to be to believe that logic. Looking at $70 million from another perspective, maybe they've been planning their next move for a while now.

Oh, here we go with the same old excuse again. Whenever veteran players sell, you have to make up a story. I don't buy it for a second.

Bro, this analysis is brilliant, but I just can't figure out these big players' real intentions. Who knows if they're cashing out or setting up for another move?

well *actually* if you're just watching on-chain transfers and getting spooked, you're missing the entire formal verification layer here. that galaxy digital move screams rebalancing, not liquidation. show me the bytecode or it didn't happen fr
