Don't remind me again today

Woke up in the morning and checked my account—back to 1.4 million again. Last week I just watched it drop from 2 million to 1.4 million. I managed to stay calm then, but why can't I handle it this time? It's the same 600k drawdown, so why does the second time hurt more? Maybe it's because having hope and losing it again stings more than never having it at all.

Here's what I did today—I closed my SOL short position. At its peak, this trade had an unrealized profit of 40k USDT. With all the copy trades combined, it could've yielded even more, but I still chose to exit at breakeven. It's not that I don't want to make money; I'm just afraid of a sudden reversal in this extreme market. I can't afford to lose the capital I worked so hard to recover. On the other hand, I increased my ETH shorts. The logic is simple: the upgrade expectations have already been priced in, and now that the news is out, it’s actually become a sell signal. Plus, there’s that old saying in the crypto space—“every conference means a drop.” The big players are probably looking for someone to take the bag.

This road is still a long one—just have to keep grinding.

Tsk, here comes the same old mindset drama again, really exhausting. How should I put it, the pain the second time definitely feels deeper than the first, and that logic actually hits pretty hard. Closed out SOL, breaking even to exit is smart—after all, getting back to break-even is already a small victory. I get the logic behind adding to ETH shorts: "Sell as soon as the shoe drops," classic advice but it works every time. Hang in there, man. Getting your mindset right is already half the battle won.

Ha, it's that emotional roller coaster again. The second drop really feels unbearable. I support breaking even and getting out. Compared to those who insist on holding to the very bottom, we need to survive to keep playing. Can we really catch the bottom with this ETH short? It always feels like the whales know when the other shoe will drop before we do.
