Don't remind me again today

#ETH巨鲸增持 buy the dip is a skill, but what's even harder is holding on.

You may have experienced this: after struggling to pick up a potential coin at a low price, it rises by 20% and you start to panic—quickly cashing out to secure your profits, just in case it corrects, right? And what happens? A few days after you sell, the coin skyrockets, multiplying by 5 or 10 times. That feeling is like watching a cooked duck fly away, especially when you were the one who let it go.

Why is it always like this?

To put it simply, there are two points. First, fear of poverty – after finally making some money, there is a dread that the market will take it all back, and one wishes to lock in the profits immediately. Second, there is no clear thought on how much to earn – when buying, one only knows "this thing will go up," but how high is considered enough? No goal leads to chaotic emotions.

There is a method that actually works quite well: to release in batches.

When it doubles or hits the first obvious resistance level, take out 50% first and get your principal back. At this point, you're already in a winning position. What about the remaining half? Just let it fly freely. As long as the weekly level uptrend structure hasn't broken, continue to hold it.

Remember this: Selling half to sleep peacefully is better than regretting a total sell-off and losing sleep.

Don't let fear of losing small money ruin your chance to seize big opportunities. Learn to stay steady when winning, and ask yourself: Are you making short-term daily expenses, or are you betting on a real opportunity to change your fate?

The strategy of selling 50% in batches is indeed brilliant, but to be honest, most people still get greedy when it's time to take profit. It's really hard to build the right mindset.

That's really well said. I'm the person who regrets selling half... Now I can only watch as the coins I once had double, haha it's苦.

Well... you are right, but it's much easier said than done. I'm still regretting selling my coins too early.

They say that, but when the time comes to rise by 20%, who can still keep their composure... I'm just that duck that's been set free 😅

Oh no, it's another batch of this trap. It's easy to say but hard to do... How many can actually hold on to it?
