Drainer is a malicious contract that activates while you sign a regular transaction. It looks legitimate but hides a catch.
Usually disguised as:
“Approve without limits” — full access to your tokens
“Allow transfer” - steals tokens unnoticed
“Check Wallet” - a counterfeit with a malicious call
One signature = all your crypto in their pocket. Cannot be canceled.
What not to do:
Do not sign if you do not understand what you are signing
Do not click on random links — only official sources of the project
Do not miss the transaction verification — check every time
How to protect yourself:
Revoke.cash — revocation of old approvals
Wallet Guard — an extension for blocking drainers
Hardware wallet (Ledger, Trezor)
Separate wallets - one for farming, one for storage
Your signature is not just a click, it's the key to your wallet. Take it more seriously.
