On-chain wealth explosion: The number of global encryption millionaires surpasses 240,000.

According to the latest report by Henley & Partners, by mid-2025, the number of people globally with at least $1 million in encryption assets is expected to reach 241,700, an increase of 40% from last year. Among them, Bitcoin millionaires are even more impressive, surging 70% in one year to 145,100.

Key Data Overview:

• The total market capitalization of the encryption market has exceeded 3.3 trillion dollars, a year-on-year rise of 45%.
• Bitcoin leads the rise: Millionaires increase by 70%, Billionaires increase by 55%
• Super wealthy individuals are also increasing: the number of people with assets exceeding 100 million USD rose by 38% to 450, while those with assets over 1 billion USD increased by 29% to 36.

Institutional Entry Accelerates: Behind this rise is the large inflow into the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF and Ether ETF. The BTC ETF surged from $37.3 billion to $60.6 billion, while the ETH ETF quadrupled to reach $13.4 billion.

Interestingly, although the total number of encryption users has only risen by 5% (approximately 590 million people), the holdings of existing users have surged dramatically, indicating that wealth is primarily concentrated among current holders. The Henley report also pointed out that among the new encryption billionaires last year, 5 made their fortunes through Bitcoin, highlighting the role of BTC in wealth creation.
