UAE telecom giant du has come up with something new 🤔—recently launching a cloud mining service called Cloud Miner, allowing ordinary residents to participate in BTC mining. Honestly, this move is pretty user-friendly—users can directly rent hashrate to mine, without having to buy mining machines themselves or worry about electricity costs; it’s just like a subscription model.

Key timing: Online auction opens from November 3-9, available only to local UAE residents. This is a new product from du’s "du Tech" investment portfolio, aiming to lower the barrier for ordinary people to enter the crypto world.

To be honest, this model is a bit attractive to retail users—you get mining profits, but du takes care of all the maintenance costs and technical hurdles. However, cloud mining has always been a bit controversial. What do you all think? Will this become a new trend or just a flash in the pan?
