Why does the crypto market see daily price increases but still make it hard to earn money?

In the past, the market had sector rotations, and the price movements followed logical patterns. For example, if a project in the GameFi sector suddenly surges today, people who missed out will start chasing tokens in the same sector. Usually, a sector can run for a few days or even a week before the next sector takes over.

Nowadays, although there are daily surges, they lack logic. These moves aren't driven by positive news, fundamentals, or genuine hype—it's mostly manipulated by pump-and-dump schemes. For instance, a token might jump 50% in a day, only to drop 60% the next day, with no real support levels or backing.

In the past, when altcoins fell 50-60%, it was due to negative news, hacks, or security issues. Now, that's completely changed. Take Nvidia, for example—its market cap surpasses 5 trillion dollars, yet the AI-related tokens in crypto keep falling and aren't being hyped anymore. It's like pouring endless money into a sinking ship.

Prices are becoming more unpredictable—some tokens rise sharply, others plummet unexpectedly. For example, $Giggle went from 300 to 47 in a flash, then rapidly surged back to 270. These are just a few examples of how heavily manipulated the market has become by pump-and-dump schemes.
