On May 19, according to Cointelegraph, Dubai’s cryptocurrency regulatory authority has requested licensed digital asset companies to comply with its latest version of the activity-based rulebook by June 19, to enhance market integrity and risk regulation. On May 19, the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) announced the release of the Rules Handbook version 2.0. The Dubai regulator stated that it has strengthened the regulation of margin trading and token distribution services, enhanced the consistency of compliance requirements for all licensed businesses, and provided a clearer definition of collateral wallet arrangements.
