ZKsync: Working with the Security Committee to gradually convert the recovered ETH into ZK Tokens.

According to Mars Finance, the ZKsync team has released an investigation update on the incident of stolen Airdrop Tokens that occurred on April 13, 2025. It disclosed that they are working with the security committee to explore gradually converting the recovered ETH into ZK Tokens, with further handling to be determined by the governance mechanism. ZKsync also stated that it will modify the Token program guidelines, requiring all Token programs to use the Capped Minter V2 launched in December 2024, which includes a pre-specified end date to automatically prevent minting outside the Token program window; real-time monitoring of all on-chain contracts that can access ZK Tokens or the protocol, as well as deploying alert infrastructure and conducting end-to-end testing.
