His son, Brandon Austin, has also been sentenced to 4 years in prison for his involvement in the scheme. The prosecution pointed out that Austin defrauded victims by making false promises of providing Crypto Assets trading facilitation, short-term high-return investments, and introducing investors to startups, and used the funds for personal luxury expenses.
