Trump: "We discussed trade and many other issues with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni."

Trump on Powell: "If I want to remove him from office, he'll go."

Trump: "I'm not happy with him."

Trump: "Our trade negotiations with all countries are going well."

Trump: "Countries want to make deals more than I do."

U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent: "South Korea is coming next week. India is also progressing very fast. We have already held talks with the European Union."

US President Trump accused Fed Chair Jerome Powell of "playing politics" and said that "interest rates need to come down right now."

In his statement, Trump said:
"Europe is cutting interest rates, but our guy is faking it," he said. He called Powell "terrible" and other Fed officials "not very smart."

Trump: Tariffs make us rich.

Trump was asked if Meloni had changed her mind about the tariffs.

Trump's response: "No."

Trump: "If Europe cuts interest rates, that puts us at a disadvantage."

Trump's statements:

"The Fed owes it to Americans to lower interest rates."

"Powell is going to be under a lot of political pressure."
