Anthropic poaches Microsoft executive, appointing them to oversee infrastructure development

BlockBeats message, April 8, according to Bloomberg, Anthropic PBC has hired a senior executive from Microsoft to build the infrastructure needed to support the rapidly growing user demand for its AI services.

According to a post it published on LinkedIn on Tuesday, Eric Boyd will serve as Anthropic’s Head of Infrastructure. He wrote: “The pace of AI development is astonishing. Over the past 6 months—especially over the past two months, with the impact of Claude Code—has demonstrated the powerful force that technology can reach.”
