Russian economists classify cryptocurrencies as high-risk assets, recommending an allocation of 5%-10%

GateNews

Gate News message: On April 7, according to a report by “Kommersant,” Russian economist Denis Astafiev said that during periods of economic instability, investments in cryptocurrencies, derivatives, and ICOs face extremely high risk. He noted that the prices of crypto assets could fall sharply due to market fluctuations, regulatory risks, technical vulnerabilities, or declining attention. Denis Astafiev advised investors to strictly limit the allocation of such highly volatile assets to between 5% and 10% of the total investment portfolio to avoid suffering irreversible losses in extreme market conditions.
