Many major petrochemical companies and projects are concentrated within the area. Among them, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation is one of the main investors in the industrial zone.

In addition, the Sadara project involving U.S.-based Dow Chemical Company, as well as projects co-invested by Saudi Aramco and France’s TotalEnergies, are also located within the industrial zone. (CCTV)
