BlockBeats message. April 6. According to the Iranian Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Baghaei, said that against the backdrop of recent proposals aimed at ending the war, Tehran has finalized its demands, but will only announce them at an appropriate time, stressing that Iran will not yield to pressure. He said: “A few days ago, they put forward some proposals through intermediaries, and this U.S. plan, which includes 15 points, was conveyed through Pakistan as well as a number of other friendly countries.” He also added, “Such proposals are extremely ambitious, unlike anything usual, and illogical.”
He emphasized that Iran has its own framework. “Based on our own interests and based on our considerations, we have organized and formulated a series of demands we have put forward in the past and present.” He also denied that contacting the mediator implies weakness. “The fact that Iran quickly and bravely takes a position on a proposal should not be seen as an indication of surrendering to the enemy.” (Jin10)
