I entered society in my teens, with no one to teach me about human relationships, no one to teach me how to protect myself, and no one to teach me how to plan my life. I matured early, but I didn’t open my eyes until much later; I am soft-hearted, but I value loyalty and righteousness. Along the way, I’ve suffered countless losses and endured endless grievances. Countless sleepless nights, all my emotions had to be swallowed alone and slowly digested. My stubbornness ingrained in my bones has kept me from ever being submissive. Every principle I understand has come at a painful cost and lesson. Every time I hit a wall, I was paying for my youthful ignorance.
