Silver is experiencing a perfect storm: on one side, record industrial demand (solar energy, electric vehicles, 5G), and on the other — limited supply and historic price highs, updated in 2025. But the main thing is that tokenized versions like Kinesis Silver (KAG) or XAGX allow trading this asset 24/7, without being tied to exchange hours and with instant liquidity. Physical silver is hard to store and sell, while on-chain provides pure exposure to the price + the ability to quickly enter and exit at any moment.
A bit of personal experience: I’ve already tried trading KAG on the secondary market — it’s convenient that you can close your position even on weekends if news about new tariffs or policy changes come out. Unlike ETFs, there are no management fees or paper restrictions here.
Currently on my watchlist: besides silver, stocks of tech companies (especially those related to AI) and the S&P 500 index. But silver seems the most undervalued considering its role in the “green” transition.
What should Gate tokenize next? I think the bond market (US Treasuries) — it’s a huge liquidity pool that’s still underrepresented on-chain. A yield of 4-5% in stablecoins would be very in demand.
