ZachXBT criticizes Circle for freezing hacker funds: This is the most useless freezing operation I have ever seen.

On October 14, Bitrace published a post revealing that Circle recently implemented preventive freezing measures on four EVM Addresses. Intelligence indicates that the funds in these Addresses originated from a theft incident related to a CEX, during which the attacker made a substantial profit by purchasing ETH. On-chain detective ZachXBT commented on this incident, stating, "I can only say this is probably one of the most useless freezing operations I've seen: · Early warning to the Hacker that they will try to freeze these Addresses later · The frozen Addresses hold DAI, not USDC · The Hacker just needs to transfer DAI to a new Address and then exchange it for USDC."
