On October 6, Galaxy Digital announced the official launch of GalaxyOne—a new personal finance platform and application that integrates a 4% yield cash account, cryptocurrency custody and trading, and zero-commission trading for U.S. stocks and ETFs. After the platform goes live, users across the U.S. who meet KYC requirements can buy, hold, and transfer Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Paxos Gold. A spokesperson for Galaxy Digital told The Block that the company plans to gradually expand the variety of tokens supported by the platform, allowing users to freely deposit and withdraw digital assets. The platform also supports zero-commission trading for over 2000 U.S. stocks and ETFs. This launch marks Galaxy Digital's official entry into the retail investor market, traditionally focused on institutional business. The service scope of GalaxyOne is similar to that of fintech platforms like Robinhood, eToro, and Cash App.
