Data: Solana ecosystem funds outflow intensifies, on-chain monthly active Address decreases by nearly 40%
According to the Cointelegraph report on February 21, fraudulent activities of Meme coin are undermining community trust, especially the Libra Token incident, leading to intensified capital outflow from the Solana ecosystem. The number of active addresses on the chain decreased by nearly 40% from 15.6 million in November 2024 to 9.5 million in February.
Glassnode data shows that the monthly inflow rate of funds for Solana and its MEME index has turned negative, reaching -5.9%. According to deBridge data, over $7.7 million has been transferred to Arbitrum, and $6.9 million has been transferred to Ethereum. Blockchain researcher Aylo believes that this round of cleansing is beneficial for improving ecosystem standards in the long term and removing bad actors.
