Chaos Unleashed: When the Rabbids Took Over STEPN
Over the course of two major events — BWAHlloween and the STEPN GO Raffle Mint — the notorious Rabbids invaded every corner of the STEPN universe. From social media glitches to design team chaos, they turned the normally sleek world of digital sneakers into a carnival of plungers, toilet paper, and uncontainable mayhem. The result was pure madness — and some of the most unforgettable sneakers STEPN has ever released.
BWAHlloween: The Madness Begins
The takeover started like any true Rabbids invasion — without warning. One moment everything was normal; the next, our feeds were filled with carrots and glitching graphics. By the time we realized what was happening, the Rabbids had already stormed the app.
Between October 28 and November 2, every Sneaker mint carried a fifty percent chance of summoning one of four limited-edition Halloween Rabbids Sneakers. Each pair embodied its own chaotic personality, from undead groans to ghostly howls, monstrous stumbles, and pumpkin-headed declarations of royal authority. They were spooky, absurd, and surprisingly functional — every Rabbid Sneaker could still be used in-app to walk, jog, or run for rewards. Just don’t ask how the monster one managed to see where it was going.
The Raffle Mint: Rabbids Return for Round Two
Just as we thought the Rabbids had retreated, they discovered something new — the Raffle Mint tab on mooar.com. One wrong button press later, and a full-scale drop of two hundred animated Genesis Sneakers went live. From November 10 to 13, users could enter for 9,000 GMT per ticket, with refunds for those not selected.
The sneakers that followed were a spectacle of chaos and creativity. Built in direct collaboration with Ubisoft’s Rabbids team, they featured animated designs that defied reason — sneakers made of wriggling Rabbids, toilet paper ambushes, never-ending treadmill runs, and graffiti-splattered masterpieces. Every one of them was fully usable, utterly ridiculous, and proudly loud in true Rabbid fashion.
Madness Meets Innovation
The Rabbids’ uninvited collaboration became one of STEPN’s most talked-about campaigns — a fusion of humor, interactivity, and pure digital absurdity. What began as a prankish invasion evolved into a creative triumph, proving that when chaos meets innovation, something truly unforgettable can emerge.
