A new report reveals that many South Korean lawmakers are holding Bitcoin, XRP, and the meme coin PEPE. According to Energy Kyungjae, 16 members of the National Assembly's Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee mainly invest in cryptocurrencies, American tech stocks, and unlisted stocks, rather than the domestic stock market.

Lawmaker Jin Jong-oh, from the opposition party, is considered the most active investor, currently holding XRP, XCORE, and Paycoin, which have increased in value fourfold recently. Notably, his mother also has a diverse portfolio including Bitcoin, Chiliz, Sandbox, and over 3.2 billion PEPE.

On the side of the ruling party, legislator Yang Moon-seok is also holding XRP worth approximately 1.355 USD. In addition to crypto, many legislators have also invested in American technology stocks such as Microsoft, NVIDIA, Apple, Tesla, as well as unlisted gaming stocks.
