The Ethereum research forum has released a new proposal rILs to enhance network censorship resistance.

According to the Gate.io News bot, @kubimensah proposed the "Relay Inclusion Lists (rILs)" at the Ethereum research forum. This proposal enhances Ethereum's censorship resistance by generating a transaction inclusion list from the memory pool through relays and enforcing that blocks include specified transactions, without changing the protocol.

Validators have the option to exit under this mechanism, ensuring the flexibility of system operation. rILs serve as a transitional solution for EIP-7805 (Fork-choice enforced Inclusion Lists\FOCIL), meeting the requirements of the FOCIL specification. EIP-7805 aims to implement mandatory inclusion list functionality at the protocol level.
