The opening of the American market today looked sad for crypto stocks. All major indices fell - Dow Jones down 0.75%, S&P 500 down 0.82%, NASDAQ lost 1.2%. Amazon even announced a $50 billion investment in OpenAI and dropped 0.44%. But the cryptocurrency sector was hit harder. MSTR lost 2.63%, COIN fell 3.12%, CRCL slid 3.21%, SBET minus 3.61%, and BMNR retreated 3.69%. It seems investors are shifting money from crypto assets into more traditional sectors. It will be interesting to see if there is a recovery by the close or if this is the start of a more serious correction.
