Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group and Weinan City Government Hold a Discussion and Exchange

On March 24, Wu Qunying, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group, held discussions with Wang Xinyi and a delegation from Weinan Municipal Government at the Group’s headquarters. Both sides exchanged views on deepening enterprise–local government cooperation, accelerating project development, and jointly building future industries. Attending the discussions were members of the Group’s Party committee, Yan Ping, Party Secretary and Chairman of Jin Mou Group, and Chairman of Jin Mou Co., Ltd., and Zhang Yifeng, Deputy Mayor of Weinan.

Wu Qunying expressed a warm welcome to Wang Xinyi and his delegation for their visit, thanked the Weinan Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government for their support, and introduced the Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group’s historical evolution, high-quality transformation and upgrading, and industrial layout, among other matters. She pointed out that in recent years, Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group has accelerated its industrial layout and investment efforts in Weinan, effectively promoting mutual integration and coordinated development with Weinan. Next, it will continue to unswervingly advance the construction of key projects in Weinan, and accelerate deeper coordination in areas such as rare and precious metals materials and green low-carbon industrial parks. She hopes that both sides will establish a more practical and efficient coordination mechanism, jointly discuss development and plan projects, and promptly and solidly advance the rollout of cooperation projects, so as to make greater contributions to Weinan’s high-quality economic and social development.

Wang Xinyi expressed his thanks to Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group for its positive contributions to Weinan’s economic and social development. He said that Weinan has clear geographical advantages and distinctive industrial features, and that its development direction aligns with Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group’s industrial layout. He hopes that Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group will continue to leverage its resource, technology, and industrial advantages, further increase its industrial layout in Weinan, and achieve complementary advantages through an even closer cooperation relationship. The Weinan Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government will spare no effort to create a first-class business environment, strengthen factor support, provide service and support, open up a new situation for coordinated enterprise–local government development, and jointly promote higher-level mutual benefit and win-win outcomes and reciprocal development.

Yan Ping introduced the development of enterprises of Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group in Weinan and proposed relevant matters that require coordinated support from Weinan. Zhang Yifeng introduced Weinan’s industrial development and its cooperation with Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group.

Attending the discussions were the mayor of Hancheng, the secretary-general of the Weinan Municipal Government, heads of the municipal science and technology bureau and the municipal bureau of industry and information technology, principal leaders of the Huazhou District and the Weinan High-Tech Zone Administrative Committee, and relevant responsible persons from Jin Mou Group, Gold Group, the XJ Institute, Jinchaling Nickel Industry, as well as the Group’s research and technology innovation department, the office, and the strategy and development reform department.
