According to a draft statement seen by Reuters, the OPEC+ committee meeting on Sunday expressed concern over attacks on energy assets during the US and Iran conflict, noting that the repair costs are high and time-consuming, thereby affecting supply. The statement said: "The committee emphasizes that ensuring the safety of international maritime routes is crucial to guarantee the continuous and uninterrupted flow of energy." It also stated: "The committee is concerned about attacks on energy infrastructure, as restoring damaged energy assets to full capacity is costly and time-consuming, which impacts overall supply capability."
